IS IT SAFE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN / LACTATING MOTHERS?

-We are happy to inform you that all our products does not have Retinol because Retinol is unsafe for pregnant women. So yes, it’s PREGNANCY-SAFE and suitable for any skin type!

 

DO THE PRODUCTS HELP WITH ACNE?

-Yes, it does. We have tea-tree oil in our wash which has anti-microbial properties. And bee venom in our Overnight Cream which also helps soothe acne prone skin on top of its collagen inducing properties

HOW TO USE? WHAT ARE THE PRODUCT BENEFITS?

1. Use The Unbranded Cleansing Wash in the morning and at night. It has a ph level of 5.0-5.6. One of its main ingredients is Squalane which is derived from olives that actively restores the lipid barrier of your skin allowing it to absorb moisture better. It also has Calamansi extract that brighten and exfoliate to improve or correct skin discoloration for an even-toned skin. This could help with skin redness and spot problems.

2. Now that your skin is prepped, you could use The Unbranded Day Shield every morning. It has broad spectrum sun protection so it helps address or protect you from the sun damage as follows: UVB (reddening, burning) and UVA (dryness and premature aging, wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots). It has Allantoin to help with transepidermal water loss and skin renewal, squalane again for hydration, and hyaluronic acid to retain moisture aside from reducing fine lines.

3.) Our Overnight Cream does the magic. Use it before you go to bed at night. It increases your cell turnover to make your skin brighter. It has vitamin E to protect you from pollution sun exposure and anti-inflammatory. It has Bee Venom, Sea Stars and Aloe to stimulate production of Collagen and provide moisture.

 

IS IT OK FOR DRY SKIN?

-Moisturizing is the key to fight dry skin! All our products have moisturizing agents, mainly because it's the foundation for skincare effectiveness. When your skin is protected and hydrated, increased cell production can take place because it's not busy fighting for hydration.

 

WHAT IF I HAVE OILY SKIN?

-All our products are non-comedogenic, meaning they don’t clog pores, and oil-free.

-When it comes to cleansing, being gentle is key for oily skin. The Unbranded Cleansing Wash has a ph level of 5.0-5.6. Its non-comedogenic formula lightly foams to remove excess oil without over-stripping skin.

-After using The Unbranded Cleansing Wash, use The Unbranded Day Shield and The Unbranded Overnight Cream. The Niacinamide in the formula are anti-inflammatory and do not promote oil production

 

IS IT SAFE TO USE WITH RETINOL? / DO YOU HAVE BHA? AHA?

-Our products don't have any AHA or BHA, that's why it's safe to use with retinol.

 

DOES IT HELP WITH DARK UNDER EYE CIRCLES?

-Dark under eye circles cannot be solved by creams. It is more of a condition that can be remedied by sleep and rest and if persistent, by medical procedure. But you can always try our products as they’re mild and non-irritating and they have cleansing, protective, and reparative components in them.

 

IS YOUR DAY SHIELD SUNSCREEN PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL?

-We have Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide complexes as physical sunscreens and Octocrylene and Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate OMC and Uvinol A+B  as chemical sunscreens.

 

WHAT DO YOU USE AS PRESERVATIVES?

-We use 1% phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin as preservatives.

 

IS THE OVERNIGHT CREAM OIL-BASED?

-The creams are emulsions and so these are mixtures of oil and water. There are silicones (for nice feel) incorporated so these are all placed in Oil in Water emulsions.

 

CAN I LAYER WITH OTHER PRODUCTS?

-We promote #Skinimalism which includes simplifying your skincare routine with LESS STEPS but more benefits. However, if you still need to layer or use another product, the answer is Yes! Our products can be mixed with other skincare products. Its mild formulation lessens the irritation, so you don't have to worry.

 

CAN I DO SEPARATE EXFOLIATION?

-Our cleanser already has Calamansi extract and therefore has mild exfoliating properties. But its main function is double cleansing + toner. So separate exfoliation is ok.

 

I NOTICED YOU HAVE BEE VENOM, HOW DO YOU EXTRACT IT? IT IS CRUELTY-FREE?

-Don't worry, none are harmed in the extraction process, our suppliers ensures us that it only involves a glass pane with a light electrical current running through it. This attracts the bees, and gets them to sting and leave their venom on the glass' surface — stingers intact. Its a safe process that ensures that the bees' lifespan, well-being, and performance are not affected.
